Skilled Labourer – Cavity Wall & Loft Insulation Teams

Location: Welwyn Garden City (covering Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Essex, Cambridgeshire and Suffolk)

Salary: Competitive rate (depending on experience)

About the Role

Anke Ltd is looking for a reliable and hardworking Skilled Labourer to join our growing insulation teams. The successful candidate will work alongside our cavity wall insulation and loft insulation installers, assisting with the delivery of projects across Hertfordshire and Suffolk.

This is a hands-on role that requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely and efficiently within occupied and unoccupied properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist cavity wall insulation and loft insulation installation teams on site.
  • Prepare work areas and materials before installation works commence.
  • Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Ensure work areas are kept clean, safe, and organised.
  • Assist with loft preparation, insulation upgrades, and cavity wall insulation works.
  • Follow company health and safety procedures at all times.
  • Complete site paperwork and use company systems where required.
  • Represent the company professionally when dealing with customers and clients.

Essential Requirements

  • Valid CSCS Card.
  • Clean DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Full UK Driving Licence preferred.
  • Ability to be at our Welwyn Garden City office for 6:30am each working day.
  • Good level of physical fitness and ability to work in loft spaces and construction environments.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.

Desirable Experience

  • Previous experience in cavity wall insulation, loft insulation, construction, property maintenance, or general building works.
  • PAS 2030 / retrofit experience.
  • Experience working within occupied social housing properties.
