Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our culinary team as a Chef. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in food preparation and cooking, with experience in a kitchen environment. Duties

• Prepare ingredients and assist in cooking a variety of dishes
• Ensure all food is prepared efficiently, maintaining consistency and quality
• Assist with meal assembly and presentation for service
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitising surfaces, and disposing of waste appropriately
• Follow food safety protocols at all times, including correct storage, handling, and temperature control of ingredients
• Monitor inventory levels and notify management when supplies need replenishing
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment

Requirements

• Previous experience in food preparation or cooking is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
• Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
• Experience working in a restaurant or catering environment is advantageous
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail
• Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
• Flexibility to work shifts as required, including weekends and evenings if necessary
