About the role:

The School wishes to appoint a Clinical Senior Lecturer to join our MBBS teaching team. The postholder will support the delivery of teaching and assessment of medical skills on the Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) course. They will focus on simulation-based learning, integration of surface anatomy and physical examination, point of care ultrasound and prescribing. Additionally they will act as a Personal Tutor for students, and will contribute to other assessment activity and student support.

About you:

Applicants will have substantial, current experience of working as a doctor and of relevant teaching to undergraduate medical students. Full registration with the GMC is essential.

The post will be based at Burnley campus site with a possible occasional component at Preston and Westlakes (Cumbria).
