Full job description

We are seeking to appoint a Study Coordinator 1 to join our dedicated clinical team in Blackpool, Lancashire.

The core hours are Monday to Friday 08:30 to 16:30, however, for this role there may be a requirement to work out of business hours to accommodate study needs.

The focus of this role is to:

  • To gain experience of the clinical trial process and become proficient in all aspects of clinical trial coordination
  • To carry out clinical trial procedures in accordance with ICH GCP.

KEY SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • BSc Biomedical science or equivalent in a related field (essential)
  • Experience in any one or more of the following (essential):
  • Laboratory sample preparation and storage
  • Taking patient vitals and venipuncture/phlebotomy
  • Healthcare/Support Worker
  • Administrative duties, data entry and record keeping
