Full job description

Myrings is one of Yorkshire's leading independent estate agencies, with an outstanding reputation for exceptional customer service, premium marketing and market-leading results.

Do you have the drive, the desire, and the team focused ability to join our selective ranks?

As our Land & Development department continues to grow, we're looking for an ambitious Land & New Homes Executive to become a key member of our expanding team.

Working alongside, and reporting directly to, our Land & Development Director, you will become an integral part of one of the region's most ambitious Land & New Homes teams. Your role will span the entire development lifecycle, from sourcing strategic and immediate land opportunities, coordinating planning promotion projects and supporting high-value land transactions, through to developer consultancy, luxury new homes developments, launch strategies, PR and media communications. This is a unique opportunity to build expertise across every facet of land, development and new homes within a fast-growing department.

This is not your traditional estate agency role! No two days will ever be the same.

Your role will include:

  • Coordinating land and new homes projects from instruction to completion
  • Working closely with landowners, developers, architects and planning consultants
  • Assisting with land appraisals, site research and market analysis
  • Preparing professional reports, presentations and development proposals
  • Coordinating brochures, CGIs, marketing campaigns and development launches
  • Managing CRM systems, enquiries and purchaser communication
  • Supporting premium property valuations and development consultancy projects
  • Helping identify and secure future land opportunities across Yorkshire

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Exceptionally organised with outstanding attention to detail
  • A confident communicator, both written and verbal
  • Professional, personable and commercially minded
  • Comfortable working independently whilst thriving as part of a team
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to learn new systems quickly
  • Passionate about property and eager to build a long-term career
  • A strong networker who is able to present through strength of case
  • Ability to present at board level when required

Experience within estate agency, land, planning, development or new homes would be advantageous, but attitude, professionalism and a willingness to learn are just as important.

What we'll offer:

  • Competitive basic salary £30k-£35k
  • Performance-related bonus with realistic OTE (c£40k)
  • Structured training across land, planning and new homes
  • Use of pool car for business appointments
  • 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Pension scheme
  • Payment of relevant professional subscriptions
  • The opportunity to work on some of the region's most exciting development projects
  • A genuine long-term career path within a growing department
  • Support from one of Yorkshire's most respected independent estate agencies
  • Not just a job but a career! We believe investing in our people helps them thrive in their careers and that is why, after a qualifying period, we are committed to investing in your professional development by fully funding your pathway to RICS accreditation, giving you the time, mentoring and real-world experience required to achieve the property industry's most respected qualification.

If you're looking for a role that will challenge you, develop your skills and give you exposure to every aspect of land, development and new homes, we'd love to hear from you.

You are about to apply for an incredible opportunity! Make yourself stand out! Tell us why you are the one we should turn to! What is it about you that sets you apart to join our confident, dynamic and successful team!

Ready!? Then please send your CV together with a covering letter to Neil Reaney, Land & Development Director at neil@myringsestateagents.com, and tell us!
