We are seeking a skilled and reliable Subcontractor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in groundskeeping and landscape maintenance, demonstrating proficiency in using various hand and power tools. This role involves maintaining gardens, building structures, and ensuring the overall aesthetic and functional quality of outdoor spaces.

Duties

• Maintain gardens and landscaped areas, ensuring they are healthy and visually appealing.
• Perform groundskeeping tasks including mowing, trimming, and weeding.
• Build and repair structures such as fences, garden beds, and pathways.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various landscaping projects.
• Dig trenches for irrigation systems or planting new trees and shrubs.
• Irrigate gardens efficiently to promote healthy plant growth.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to quality standards.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to the operation of landscaping equipment.
• Ability to use both hand tools and power tools competently.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labour for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects.
• Attention to detail with a passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
