The Role

As an experienced landscaper at Alpha Landscaping, you will play a key role in delivering high-end garden builds from start to finish. You’ll be expected to take ownership of your work, maintain high standards, and contribute to the overall quality and reputation of the company.

What We Require

  • Valid UK driving licence (essential)
  • Own hand tools required
  • Ability to operate machinery such as a digger and dumper confidently
  • Proven experience in landscaping and groundwork
  • Ability to manage your own workload and stay productive throughout the day
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on high-quality finishes
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional at all times
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Good problem-solving skills on site

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Carrying out all aspects of landscaping on residential projects large and small
  • Working from plans, drawings, or instructions to deliver precise results
  • Preparing sites including:
  • Excavation and groundwork
  • Installing sub-bases (Type 1, grano, sharp sand, etc.)
  • Setting correct levels and falls for drainage
  • Laying patios to a high standard (especially porcelain paving)
  • Installing artificial grass including full preparation and finishing
  • Completing turfing, fencing, and general garden construction works
  • Assisting with features such as:
  • Outdoor kitchens
  • Pergolas and structures
  • Steps, retaining walls, and raised beds
  • Decking

  • Ensuring all work is completed to a high-end, premium finish
  • Attention to detail in cuts, levels, and alignment
  • Keeping work areas clean, organised, and safe at all times
  • Taking pride in the finished product and representing the brand professionally
