Role overview:
The Team Leader is responsible for overseeing a small team, ensuring the successful completion of assigned projects in line with company standards. This role requires effective coordination with project managers, site managers, and office staff to ensure that all work is carried out efficiently, safely, and to a high standard. The Team Leader will also be responsible for caring tools, overseeing team sign-ins, and ensuring all necessary permits are secured.
Key responsibilities:
· Responsible for completing tasks as set by PM.
· Provide signed job sheet upon completion.
· Conduct weekly checks on vans to ensure they are in good condition and report issues to the Fleet Manager.
· Supervise and lead a small team to ensure project deadlines are met.
· Compliance with Company core values.
· Report any excess materials to PM and return them to the yard.
· Responsible for returning creates, pallets, pots to the yard and notify the management.
· Handle tools& equipment safely and responsibly.
· Provide timely feedback on any site issues to PM and office.
· Help maintain tidiness in the yard, ensuring landscaping stock is well-organised and waste is disposed of properly.
Required skills:
· At least 1 year of experience in a landscaping role.
· Ability to identify a wide range of plants/trees and industry best practices.
· Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and working in various conditions.
Qualifications:
· CSCS Card mandatory for your role
· Driving license preferred
Working conditions:
- Work will primarily take place on construction sites.
- Must be able to handle physical demands, and working in various weather conditions
