Full job description

We are currently accepting applications from experienced Groundworkers to support projects in West & South Yorkshire and north Derbyshire

Our offices and yard are in Barnsley and we are currently working on sites in Rotherham and Shirebrook. Future sites may be at other locations in South and West Yorkshire, as a result it may be necessary for personnel to move location as operational demand changes.

Please note the following:

A CSCS card is minimum requirement for Groundworkers. Plant tickets are preferable but not mandatory.

We are particularly keen to talk to groundworkers with experience in external works and other finishing aspects of residential developments. However, candidates with experience of all aspects will be considered, including:

  • Installation of plot drainage
  • Preparation of foundations & floor slabs
  • Hard landscaping
  • Road preparation
  • Kerbing, edging & flagging.
  • Installation of storm water attenuation tanks
  • Sewer connections
  • Installation of Manholes & Hydrobrakes
  • Installation of foul & surface water drainage

Rate of pay is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.

Pay: £16.00-£20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 39.5 per week

Licence/Certification:

  • CSCS (required)
