You’ll be involved in a wide range of landscape construction projects, covering mainly hard but with elements of associated soft landscaping. Activities activities are wide ranging from ground works, fencing, paving, rubber and artificial surfaces along with associated soft landscaping such as turfing, seeding and other associated works, helping to deliver projects to specification and to a high standard of workmanship.

What are we looking for?

Ideally, you will have experience in landscaping, with a practical, hands-on approach and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Experience operating construction plant, particularly excavators, would be beneficial. Relevant operator qualifications, such as NPORS or CPCS, would be an advantage. If you do not hold these certificates training will be provided.

A full, clean driving licence is essential. The ability to drive vehicles up to 7.5 tonnes would be advantageous but is not essential.

A current CSCS card would be beneficial; however, if you do not hold one, training will be provided by the company.

We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic colleague who works well as part of a team and takes pride in delivering quality work.

If you have relevant experience, a willingness to learn and the right attitude, we’d still like to hear from you.

At Scandor, we want our people to grow alongside the business. In return for your skills and commitment, we offer:

  • Competitive starting salary, dependent on experience and qualifications.
  • Annual profit-related bonus, giving you the opportunity to share in the success of the business.

  • Career development opportunities, with the potential to progress into a role with greater responsibility as the business continues to grow.
  • Company van, shared usage to and from home
  • The opportunity to work alongside an experienced team on a varied range of landscaping projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to develop their skills, broaden their experience and build a long-term career.
