Experienced Lead Hard Landscaper

Company: Glanville Landscapes
Location: Bracknell and surrounding areas
Pay: £260–£280 per day, depending on proven experience and ability to lead projects independently
Expected start: Approximately 2–3 weeks

About the opportunity

Glanville Landscapes is a growing residential landscaping business based in Bracknell, focused on high-quality patios and garden transformations.

We’re looking for an experienced, reliable hard landscaper who can take a hands-on lead on site, organise a labourer and deliver work to a high standard. The business owner will handle sales, customer relationships and overall project coordination.

The initial opportunity is an upcoming garden transformation. Project duration and the final scope will be discussed once the customer’s completed design is available. Further work may become available as our pipeline develops, but ongoing work is not currently guaranteed.

Responsibilities

  • Read and work from garden designs and drawings.
  • Set out work accurately, including levels, falls and drainage.
  • Carry out ground preparation, sub-base installation and paving.
  • Deliver other landscaping elements, such as fencing, decking and turfing, within your experience.
  • Plan daily tasks and supervise a labourer.
  • Identify material requirements and flag potential issues early.
  • Maintain a safe, organised and tidy site.
  • Communicate clearly about progress and present professionally on customers’ properties.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience delivering residential hard landscaping projects.
  • Strong practical knowledge of paving, groundwork, levels and drainage.
  • Experience taking responsibility for day-to-day site delivery.
  • Reliable attendance, punctuality and clear communication.
  • Pride in the quality and finish of your work.
  • Ability to travel reliably to sites around Bracknell.
  • Photographs of work you have personally completed and two recent work references.

Experience with porcelain paving, natural stone and larger garden transformations would be particularly useful.

Pay and working arrangements

The rate is £260–£280 per day, depending on demonstrated experience and ability to lead projects independently.

Working hours, project duration, tools and transport arrangements, payment terms and the engagement arrangement will be discussed and agreed before starting.
