Location: East Anglia (Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk and Cambridgeshire)
Pay: £170 to £210 per day (CIS), depending on experience

Job Description

Summit Swimming Pools is looking for an experienced and skilled Groundworker / Hard Landscaper to join our team.

We specialise in the construction and refurbishment of high quality swimming pools and outdoor spaces across East Anglia.

We are looking for someone with a strong background in groundworks and hard landscaping who can work confidently, take responsibility for their work and complete tasks to a high standard.

This is a hands on role involving a variety of construction and landscaping projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ground preparation, excavation and foundations
  • Setting out and working accurately to levels
  • Drainage installation and associated groundworks
  • Concrete works, including preparation and pouring
  • Laying porcelain paving, natural stone and other hard landscaping materials
  • Kerbing, edging and general landscaping
  • Assisting with swimming pool construction and installation
  • Working independently and alongside our existing team

Requirements

  • Proven experience in groundworks and hard landscaping is essential
  • Confident laying paving to a professional standard
  • Experience with drainage, foundations and concrete works
  • Ability to set out work and establish accurate levels
  • Good understanding of construction methods and site safety
  • Able to work independently without constant supervision
  • Reliable, hardworking and takes pride in their workmanship
  • Experience operating plant and machinery would be advantageous
  • Previous swimming pool construction experience would be beneficial but is not essential

Location and Travel

Our projects are located throughout East Anglia, including Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk and Cambridgeshire.

Candidates can travel directly to the relevant site each day, so there is no requirement to travel to our collection point.

Alternatively, daily collection is available from CM16 4BZ (Epping, Essex) for those who prefer this option.

Pay: £170.00-£210.00 per day
