About the role
We’re looking for a hardworking and reliable Grounds, Maintenance & Hot Tub Assistant to support the upkeep of our resort.
You’ll help maintain our grounds, accommodation, buildings and facilities to a high standard, carrying out a mixture of groundskeeping, basic maintenance and general repairs. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, is comfortable working outdoors and takes pride in creating a safe and well-presented environment for our guests.

Key responsibilities
  • Carry out general groundskeeping including grass cutting, strimming, planting and landscaping
  • Maintain gardens, lawns, pathways and outdoor areas
  • Assist with routine maintenance and repairs across accommodation, buildings and facilities
  • Carry out basic painting, decorating, plumbing and general repair tasks where appropriate
  • Conduct routine checks of grounds, buildings, facilities and equipment
  • Identify and report maintenance issues, damage or potential hazards
  • Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ensure grounds, communal areas and facilities remain clean, safe and well presented
  • Support waste management and recycling processes
  • Assist with the setup and upkeep of outdoor and guest areas
  • Use groundskeeping tools, machinery and maintenance equipment safely
  • Follow health and safety procedures and company standards
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to support resort operations and the guest experience
  • Hot Tub Cleaning & Testing
What we’re looking for
Essential
  • A practical and hands-on approach to work
  • Confidence carrying out basic maintenance and groundskeeping tasks
  • Ability to use tools and equipment safely
  • A proactive and reliable approach
  • Good organisation and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Confidence working outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to safely carry out physical and manual-handling tasks
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and presentation
Desirable
  • Previous experience within grounds maintenance, landscaping, general maintenance or a similar practical role
  • Basic DIY, plumbing, painting or decorating skills
  • Experience using groundskeeping machinery and maintenance equipment
  • Previous experience within holiday parks, hospitality, leisure or a similar environment
  • A full UK driving licence
