GMAC Gardens Ltd is a growing professional gardening company delivering high-quality maintenance and garden care to residential and commercial clients across Kent. We are looking for a reliable, skilled and hardworking Garden Maintenance Operative to become an integral member of our small team and play a key role in the day-to-day delivery of our maintenance contracts.
This is a practical, hands-on role suited to someone who is confident in all the basics of garden maintenance, can work both independently and within a small team, and consistently puts in a strong day’s work. We are looking for someone who takes pride in what they do and wants to be part of a long-term, stable setup.
- Initially 2–3 days per week, with a clear pathway to increased hours and full-time work as you develop within the role.
- Full time may be offered to the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Lawn mowing, strimming and edging
- Hedge cutting and pruning
- General garden maintenance and tidy-ups
- Planting and bed maintenance
- Leaf clearance and seasonal work
- Working independently and as part of a small team
- Keeping tools, equipment and vehicles clean and well maintained
- Representing GMAC Gardens Ltd professionally on-site
Who We’re Looking For:
- Reliable, punctual and consistent
- Strong work ethic and willingness to work hard
- Confident in all basic aspects of garden maintenance
- Able to work independently and use initiative
- Comfortable working as part of a small team
- Physically fit and happy working outdoors in all weathers
- Good attention to detail and pride in standards
- Full UK driving licence
Hours, Days & Pay
- Monday to Friday.
- 24 to 40 hours per week. (Overtime may be offered)
- £13 to £15 per hour depending on experience.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £104.00-£130.00 per day
Expected hours: 16.0 – 40.0 per week
