Overview:We are currently seeking a Groundworker to join our team in maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will have experience in groundwork and landscaping, with a passion for creating and maintaining outdoor environments.
Duties:- Undertake various groundworks tasks including digging, trenching, and backfilling- Assist in the installation of drainage systems- Lay pathways, patios, and other hard landscaping features- Plant and maintain trees, shrubs, and flowers- Operate machinery such as diggers and compactors under supervision- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Experience:- Previous experience in groundworks or landscaping is desirable- Knowledge of different types of plants and materials used in landscaping- Ability to work effectively as part of a team- Basic understanding of health and safety regulations related to outdoor work- Physical fitness and ability to undertake manual tasks- Full UK driving licence is advantageous
