Full job description

About the role:

  • Part time - 20–25 hours per week.
  • Permanent
  • £12.71 - £12.90 per hour + staff perks
  • You approach your day with a critical eye. No weeds, overflowing gutters or lifting paving slabs escape your attention. You keep our outside spaces looking top-notch.
  • You’re responsible for our outdoor public spaces and maintenance areas, including the car park, bin yard, pathways and hotel gardens.
  • Jobs include mowing, hedge trimming, strimming, weeding, clearing leaves, jet washing, watering plants and minor repairs.
  • You work closely with the housekeeping team to keep the hotel looking its best and ready for guests.
  • Happy working independently, you get stuck into your task list without needing a prompt.
  • You’re organised and keep on top of deadlines, making sure our outside spaces are ready before guests arrive.
  • You enjoy being on the move and getting stuck into a physical, outdoor role. Not much paperwork here!
  • An interest in gardening and general maintenance is desirable, along with pride in a job well done.
  • You tackle small maintenance jobs and flag anything needing specialist attention.
  • Flexible working pattern, mostly midweek, with weekends typically off. An early start on Mondays is required to get the bins ready for collection and tidy up after the weekend.
  • Starting at minimum wage, with scope for an increase after probation.
  • No tools or equipment required.

Join the Team

You’ll be part of a close-knit crew on a thumbs-up mission, creating feel-good experiences, inspiring each other, and delivering standout service with personality and pride. Expect to be part of a fast-moving, idea-sharing, good-times team. The goal? Be missed when you’re not on shift.

We’re proud of our space. It’s bold, fun, and a little unexpected, and we want people who treat it like their own. Know your products, back your teammates, and speak up when something’s not quite right. No two days are the same, and that’s exactly how we like it.
