Overview

As a Gardener, you will care for planted areas and outdoor spaces through practical gardening and landscape maintenance. You’ll use hand tools and power tools safely, support irrigation, and help keep grounds tidy, healthy and welcoming throughout the growing season.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain lawns, borders, beds and other landscaped areas, including planting, pruning, weeding and clearing debris.
  • Use hand tools and power tools appropriately, keeping equipment and work areas in good order.
  • Check irrigation systems, water plants as needed and report issues that could affect plant health.
  • Support seasonal planting and routine groundskeeping, adapting tasks to the needs of different plants and outdoor areas.

Your impact: Well-maintained planting and reliable watering help visitors enjoy attractive outdoor spaces and help colleagues keep grounds in good condition.

Experience

Tractor & power mowing .. cleaning and maintenance of mowers and equipment.
Required: Practical gardening skills, confidence using hand tools, and the ability to carry out landscape maintenance and groundskeeping tasks carefully. Preferred: Growing experience, familiarity with horticulture and irrigation, and experience using power tools for gardening or outdoor maintenance.

Pay: £30.00-£33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 22.0 per week
