Universal Search group are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor/Foreman for our Civils client based in Hull, East Yorkshire.

Candidate requirements:

• Background in Civils
• Ideally experience on Modular projects
• SSSTS or equivalent
• Managerial or supervisor experience
• Happy to travel and work away
• Positive attitude with a keen eye for health and safety
• Experience with foundations, drainage, trenching, ducting, earth moving, landscaping, etc.
• Computer literate

Our client will cover:

• Over night stay cover when working away
• Mileage allowance when working away
• Food allowance when working away

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily operations on-site, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
• Lead, motivate, and develop team members, fostering a positive work environment.
• Conduct regular inspections of work areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate with project managers to discuss project progress, challenges, and resource allocation.
• Monitor equipment usage and maintenance schedules to prevent downtime.
• Address any issues or conflicts that arise within the team promptly and effectively.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory or Foreman role within the Civils / Earthworks industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with team members and management.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations applicable to the workplace.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements or schedules.

Day rate:

£250.00

Working hours:

40-50 per week

Start date:

Immediate for the right person
