Join Our Team as a Grounds Maintenance Operative!

As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the outdoor areas we manage are safe, clean, and visually appealing for our clients, supporting us to be excellent at everything we do.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing routine maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging lawns
  • Planting flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the beauty for client sites
  • Applying fertilizers and pesticides in accordance with safety guidelines
  • Removing litter and debris to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment
  • Operating and maintaining groundskeeping equipment and tools
  • Collaborating with team members to prioritise tasks and meet client deadlines
  • Upholding our commitment to sustainability and adding value to client sites by recommending enhancements such as Bee hives, Bird Boxes and other ESG initiatives

What we're looking for:

  • A passion for outdoor work and a keen eye for detail
  • Previous experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping preferred but not required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, customer-focused attitude.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and seasonal demands
