Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Hard Landscaper to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and maintaining various hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures. Your expertise will help create durable, aesthetically pleasing landscapes that stand the test of time. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in landscape construction while contributing to beautiful outdoor environments.

Duties

  • Construct and install hardscape elements including patios, pathways, driveways, retaining walls, and steps using a variety of materials such as stone, brick, concrete, and pavers
  • Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently to complete construction tasks
  • Assist with landscape maintenance tasks related to groundskeeping and horticulture when needed
  • Install irrigation systems and ensure proper functioning of watering setups during landscape projects
  • Conduct routine maintenance on tools and machinery to ensure optimal performance
  • Collaborate with team members to plan project layouts and execute construction plans effectively

Skills

  • Proven experience in landscape construction or hardscape installation
  • Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance, groundskeeping, gardening, and horticulture principles
  • Mechanical knowledge related to operating excavators and power tools safely
  • Proficiency with hand tools such as shovels, trowels, levels, and chisels
  • Ability to interpret construction plans and technical drawings accurately
  • Excellent groundworks skills with attention to detail in craftsmanship
  • Good physical stamina for manual labor tasks involving lifting, digging, and standing for extended periods
