Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Ground Worker to join our team here at Probrouk LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills in groundskeeping, landscaping, and construction-related tasks within a dynamic environment. The position is paid and suitable for individuals eager to contribute to the upkeep of various outdoor projects.

Duties

  • Assisting with landscape maintenance, including planting, pruning, and lawn care
  • Operating power tools and hand tools safely for various tasks such as digging, trimming, and installing features
  • Using machinery such as excavators for excavation and site preparation
  • Installing and maintaining irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of landscaped areas
  • Performing general groundskeeping duties, including debris removal and surface levelling
  • Supporting construction activities related to outdoor projects, including site preparation and material handling
  • Conducting routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Assisting with specialised horticultural tasks such as planting, fertilising, and soil conditioning

Requirements

  • Prior experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or construction is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for specific machinery and tools
  • Mechanical knowledge beneficial for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and gardening equipment such as irrigation systems
  • Experience operating excavators or similar machinery is advantageous
  • Knowledge of horticulture or gardening practices is desirable
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
  • Good organisational skills with attention to detail in completing assigned tasks efficiently
  • Physical fitness to perform manual labour including lifting, digging, and standing for extended periods
  • Most have groundwork experience
