PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

Exeter Garden Maintenance Limited have an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our operations team. The purpose of the role is to work within our Grounds Maintenance team on various sites across Devon.

Experience is necessary. You will be using the following equipment: compact tractors, hedge cutters, strimmers, blowers and lawn mowers. The applicant must be able to deal with all clients' problems and situations that might arise whilst working on site.

Duties include grass cutting, hedge trimming, litter picking, strimming and land clearance. The successful applicant will be proactive, customer-focused, honest and committed to ensuring the team continues to deliver the high standard our clients’ expect.

A clean drivers licence is essential as you will be responsible for driving a company vehicle. You must be able to get your self to Broadclyst nr Exeter to start the day.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Please be aware that the sites vary in size, location, terrain, slopes and gradients and that work activities continue in all weather conditions. This is a physically demanding job. A full company uniform and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:

Previous Horticultural / grounds maintenance experience including experience of using a range of horticultural equipment e.g. strimmers, hedges cutters, push mowers. Also experience of working to Health & Safety standards , proven experience of working to set deadlines and quality conscious with good customer care skills and communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time/ temporary
