Landscaping jobs in Penwortham

Office plant and interior landscaping company Inleaf are looking for an installation and maintenance technician to work on a casual, flexible basis alongside their permanent team. We are recruiting a bank of people to help us with scheduled projects and to provide assistance during busy periods.

The role

You will be involved in the installation of large projects such as living plant displays and living walls as well as helping us during busy periods with creating and installing other displays such as moss walls, Christmas displays and artificial arrangements. This is a fun and varied role within an existing friendly and supportive team.

Main activities include:

• Assembling new displays at our HQ
• Installing new schemes, displays and wall units
• Safe use of hand tools and power tools (e.g. cordless drill)
• Installing Christmas trees and decorations during the festive period
• Involved in larger projects, such as exterior living wall installations
• Working in line with our health and safety measures
• Mainly van-based, working alone or as part of a team
• Typical working hours from 07:30 to 16:00 Monday to Friday (overtime also available)
• Extensive travel and working away with accommodation and expenses
• Salary between £12.50 and £13.50 per hour
• Overnight stay allowance of £25 per night, plus meal allowances
• Travel and accommodation paid for

The ideal candidate

• A good eye for design
• Good work ethic
• Full UK driving license holder
• Confident driving ability - particularly in city centres and over long distances.
• Good timekeeping and organisation

Company & location

We are based at our head office in Chorley, Lancashire, however there will be a substantial amount of nationwide travel for some clients/projects. Your travel, accommodation and an overnight stay allowance paid for by the company, as required.
