Full job description

We currently have a vacancy for an experienced Climbers / Arborists. KPS works with commercial, council and residential customers; work ranges from small pruning jobs to large scale tree removal projects. This position is suitable for someone who has a wealth of experience in Arboriculture, looking to step up, lead a team and make a difference.

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individuals to join our team. The successful candidate must be able to always display professional and friendly attitude and be a team player.

You must have a full UK driving licence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • All aspects of general arborist works
  • Liaising with tree officers /general public/ customers
  • Liaising with the workshop regarding equipment / vehicle maintenance
  • Keeping your vehicle and all tools clean and well maintained
  • Wearing PPE at all times whilst working/on site and in the yard
  • To work as part of a team ensure good team spirit with an enthusiastic approach

Knowledge & Skills:

  • At least 3 years' experience climbing
  • Ability to identify Risks and Hazards
  • NPTC Certificates – CS30, CS31, CS36, CS38, CS39

KPS comprises of three companies; KPS Contractors Ltd who work in landscaping and tree surgery, and KPS Composting Services Ltd who take green waste on the Isfield Recycling Facility and convert it to landscaping products as well as producing Biofuel. KPS Build Ltd undertaking a range of building works. We work across London and the Southeast, and we are based in Scaynes Hill, near Haywards Heath in West Sussex.

Pay: £27,300.00-£50,000.00 per year
