About us

Grass Valet Company Ltd is a growing business based near Frome. We are looking to expand an already excellent team with extra hands and extra skills.

We specialise in cleaning and maintaining tennis courts and hockey pitches but we also have a thriving customer base in landscaping and amenity services.

Our goal is to "get it right the first time", to ensure our customers stay happy and we continually face more exciting and challenging projects.

Landscaping & Maintenance Services Worker

Reports to:

Operations Supervisor

Job Summary:

To provide a range of services for our customers including but especially fencing.

Main Functions:

  • Soft landscaping - turfing, planting, ground prep, mulching, etc.
  • Hard landscaping - paving, fencing, decking, installing artificial grass
  • Grass cutting - mowing, strimming
  • Hedge cutting
  • Cleaning of hard and artificial grass sports surfaces

Qualifications - essential:

  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and satisfy requirements of our insurer
  • Have or be able to obtain CSCS card

Qualifications - desirable:

  • NPORS for Digger and Dumper
  • PA1, PA2 & PA6 for spraying
  • Chainsaw certification
  • Any other training and certifications that relate to landscaping

Experience - desirable:

  • Background in any of our business areas as described above
  • Operation of small tractors for variety of attachments
