Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for horticulture and landscape maintenance, demonstrating proficiency in various landscaping techniques. This role involves working outdoors to enhance and maintain the aesthetic appeal of gardens, parks, and other green spaces. Must be experienced in driveways also and full licence

Duties

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging of lawns.
• Dig, irrigate, and build garden beds as required for planting and design purposes.
• Utilise both hand tools and power tools effectively to complete landscaping projects.
• Conduct regular inspections of landscaped areas to identify maintenance needs and implement appropriate solutions.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Assist in the installation of irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
• Provide groundskeeping services to ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of outdoor spaces.
• Collaborate with team members to execute landscaping projects efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is preferred but not essential.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various power tools safely.
• Capability to dig, build, and maintain garden areas with attention to detail.
• A good understanding of plant care, irrigation systems, and groundskeeping practices.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Excellent physical stamina as the role requires lifting, standing for long periods, and performing manual labour.
• A valid driving licence is advantageous for transportation between job sites.
