Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Gardener to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor green spaces, ensuring they are healthy, vibrant, and aesthetically pleasing. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a love for horticulture and landscape maintenance to utilise their skills in a dynamic environment. Duties

  • Planting, pruning, watering, and fertilising a variety of plants, shrubs, and trees
  • Operating hand tools, power tools, and irrigation systems to maintain gardens and landscapes
  • Implementing landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing lawns, edging borders, and mulching beds
  • Assisting with the installation of new garden features and plant displays
  • Monitoring plant health and diagnosing issues related to pests or diseases
  • Ensuring all outdoor areas are kept clean, tidy, and safe for visitors and staff
  • Supporting seasonal planting programmes and garden redesign projects

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in gardening or horticulture is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and irrigation systems used in landscape maintenance
  • Knowledge of growing techniques and plant care best practices
  • Strong interest in gardening, horticulture, and landscape design
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Organised with good attention to detail and safety standards
  • Previous experience working with <PERSON> or within similar environments is advantageous
