Domestic Landscaping Estimating and Surveying Consultant / Assistant Wanted – Royal Tunbridge Wells Landscapes

Location: Tunbridge Wells, Kent area

About Us

Royal Tunbridge Wells Landscapes (RTWL) is a high quality, Kent-based domestic landscaping contractor with a reliable, friendly team that works to the highest of standards. We install patios, fencing, walling, planting works and all aspects of domestic landscaping. We are looking for a methodical, proactive individual to join us and take ownership of our quotations from first enquiry through to completion.

The Role

You will be the link between the client, the office and the site team, taking each job from initial enquiry through to acceptance and then following it through the project to make sure it runs smoothly and efficiently within the quotation you have built.

  • Using measurements and project details and turning them into a clear scope of works
  • Building simple, accurate quotations in Excel using our existing quotation proforma and Word quotation pro forma
  • Following each job from initial enquiry through to acceptance
  • Identifying and pricing variations as the project progresses
  • Communicating with the team leader and landscapers on site so that everyone is working to the agreed scope, programme and budget
  • Keeping everything organised so nothing slips through the cracks
  • Various other duties depending on experience

About You

  • Experience and competence with Excel is a must – you know exactly what you are doing with formulas and workbooks
  • Methodical, organised and detail-focused
  • Proactive and self-sufficient – you spot what needs doing and get on with it
  • Able to take measurements and project information and produce a clear scope of work and quotation
  • A good communicator who is comfortable talking to clients, the team leader and landscapers on site
  • Knowledge of landscaping, construction, quotation build-ups or estimating is an advantage, but the right attitude and skills matter most.
