Posting Description:

Broker Latinoamerica Property at AON

Want to take part on some of LATAM’s largest and most sophisticated property accounts in a high‑impact, client-facing team? Ready to grow your broking career while working with top‑tier clients and markets?
This broker opportunity based in our London office, offered on a hybrid basis with the flexibility to work both virtually and onsite!

Aon is in the business of better decisions

At Aon, we shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world.
As an organisation, we are united through trust as one inclusive team, and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.

What the day will look like

In this role, you’ll be a key member of Aon’s Large & Sophisticated Accounts team for Latin America, supporting the delivery of placement strategies and client service for major property programmes. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the region, helping to bring Aon’s insights and capabilities to clients while developing your own market and technical expertise.
Support the broking and placement of large and complex property programmes across LATAM, helping to structure programmes and prepare market submissions.
Analyse risk profiles, property schedules and loss information, drawing on Aon’s analytics and market insights to inform placement strategies.
Coordinate day‑to‑day communication with insurers and other market partners, supporting negotiations on terms, conditions and pricing.
Prepare and maintain documentation, including slips, endorsements, reports and internal records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Aon processes.
Collaborate with account management, claims, analytics and specialty teams to help deliver a seamless client experience.
Contribute to new business activity by supporting data gathering, proposals, presentations and RFP responses.

How this opportunity is different

This is a chance to build your broking career in a team that works on some of the most significant property programmes in the LATAM region. You’ll gain exposure to complex risks and high‑profile clients, while being supported to help you grow your technical and market skills.

Day to day, you will:

  • Work closely with brokers, account directors and specialty colleagues to help build and deliver effective risk and insurance solutions.
  • Collaborate with our regional and global property and placement teams, giving you access to a wide insurer network and deep market insight.
  • Be supported by established processes, tools and operations teams that help with data, documentation and governance, so you can focus on developing your broking skills.
  • Benefit from Aon’s hybrid working approach, combining time in the office with flexibility to connect virtually with colleagues and markets across the region.
This role combines exposure to major clients, complex property risks and a strong support network – giving you the platform to develop as a broker and make a visible contribution to Aon and our clients in the LATAM property market.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Experience in insurance or broking, ideally with exposure to property risks or commercial lines; familiarity with multinational or regional programmes is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to work with data, schedules and reports to support placement decisions.
  • Developing understanding of property insurance markets and wordings, with a curiosity about building deeper technical expertise.
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills, with confidence working in a collaborative, client‑focused team environment.
  • Proficiency in English is essential; Spanish is highly desirable and additional regional languages are a plus.
