Full job description

We have a wonderful opportunity for an experienced residential conveyancing assistant or trainee solicitor to join our team. Working from our Uckfield office known locally as Colemans, you will be a valued part of this friendly, professional and dynamic firm that has 8 offices and over 100 staff in total.

The successful candidate will be working one to one with an experienced lawyer in the residential team. Prior experience providing support at all stages of transactions from onboarding stage through to post completion work is strongly preferred but not essential if applying to be a trainee solicitor.

This role is only for a candidate that is committed to a career in residential property. It offers huge career potential both for those that wish to develop a career providing invaluable support and those wishing to be a trainee solicitor and do their Qualifying Work Experience under SQE in residential conveyancing.

For candidates that are looking to qualify as a residential property solicitor we will only consider those that wish to qualify via the SQE route.

Excellent IT and communication skills are essential. The role is office based and so candidates must live within easy commuting distance of Uckfield.
