Quality & Compliance Lead

Offshore Renewable Energy | UK, EU & International Projects

Help Shape the Future of Offshore Renewable Energy

Are you an experienced Quality & Compliance professional looking to play a key role in delivering some of the world's most ambitious offshore renewable energy projects?

Our client is an internationally recognised leader in offshore construction, subsea engineering and renewable energy infrastructure. With an impressive portfolio of complex marine projects across the UK, Europe, North America and beyond, they are investing heavily in the continued growth of their Offshore Renewable Energy division.

As a result, they are looking to appoint a Quality & Compliance Lead who will become a trusted advisor across major offshore wind and subsea projects, ensuring the highest standards of quality, governance and regulatory compliance from tender through to project completion.

This is a unique opportunity to join an organisation where quality is viewed as a genuine competitive advantage, not simply a compliance requirement.

The Opportunity

Working alongside Project Directors, Marine Operations, HSE, Supply Chain and Commercial teams, you will lead the development and implementation of robust quality and compliance processes that support the successful delivery of technically challenging offshore projects.

You'll be involved from the earliest stages of project bidding, through supplier qualification, vessel readiness, offshore execution and final client handover, ensuring every project is delivered safely, efficiently and in full compliance with contractual, regulatory and international quality standards.

This is a highly visible position offering significant influence across international operations, where your expertise will directly contribute to reducing project risk, improving operational readiness and driving continuous improvement across the business.

What You'll Be Doing

Driving Project Quality

· Lead the development and implementation of project-specific Quality Management Plans, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), assurance registers and compliance matrices.

· Ensure quality requirements are embedded throughout every phase of project delivery.

· Identify quality risks and implement practical mitigation strategies.

· Manage quality assurance activities across suppliers, subcontractors and project partners.

· Own the Non-Conformance process, driving corrective actions, root cause analysis and lessons learned.

· Maintain accurate project quality documentation and support successful client handover.

Supporting Project Delivery

· Work closely with tender teams to support bids and pre-qualification submissions.

· Assist project teams with assurance reviews, mobilisation readiness and project compliance.

· Support vessel readiness activities and ensure documentation is maintained to the highest standard.

· Promote a culture of continuous improvement across projects and business operations.

Compliance & Governance

· Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 21500 and client-specific requirements.

· Support compliance with ISM Code requirements across relevant vessels.

· Manage certification and compliance records covering vessels, suppliers, equipment, insurance and regulatory approvals.

· Plan, coordinate and support internal, supplier, client and external audits.

· Monitor compliance across multiple international jurisdictions, ensuring evidence and documentation are always audit-ready.

What We're Looking For

You'll be someone who enjoys bringing structure to complex projects and takes pride in maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.

You'll likely have experience within offshore energy, marine, subsea, engineering, infrastructure or another highly regulated environment where quality assurance is business critical.

We're particularly interested in people who can demonstrate:

· 5-10 years' experience in Quality, Compliance, Assurance or Project Governance.

· Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and ISO standards.

· Experience supporting audits, supplier qualification and regulatory compliance.

· Excellent document control and records management skills with exceptional attention to detail.

· Experience managing non-conformances, corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.

· The ability to interpret contractual and regulatory requirements and translate them into practical project actions.

· Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to work across project teams, suppliers, clients and senior leadership.

· The ability to prioritise multiple workstreams across international projects while maintaining exceptional quality standards.

Experience within offshore renewable energy, offshore wind, subsea construction, marine operations or vessel management would be highly advantageous, although candidates from other highly regulated engineering sectors are also encouraged to apply.

Why Join?

This is far more than a compliance role.

It's an opportunity to influence the successful delivery of landmark offshore renewable energy projects that are helping accelerate the global energy transition.

Pay: £80,000.00-£110,000.00 per year

Benefits:

  • Company pension
  • Free parking
  • On-site parking
  • Private medical insurance
