KM Recruitment is a specialist UK-wide recruiter within the Skills and Employability sectors.

Role: Hotel Management Assessor (Trainee or Qualified Assessor opportunity)

Are you an experienced Hotel Manager or Reception Manager looking to move into Assessing/Training?

Full training and support will be provided to achieve the Level 3 Award in Education and Training if you’re new to assessing.

Location: Home/Field based – covering Surrey / West London and surrounding areas (travel required mileage paid from home)

Salary: £31,000 – £35,700 – inclusive of location uplift depending on candidate postcode

Package: Excellent holiday entitlement, mileage and additional benefits.

Type: Full-time | Permanent

Essential Requirements

  • Must have experience of working as a Supervisor or Manager within a hotel (Front of House).
  • Ideally hold a Level 2 qualification (or above) in Hospitality (e.g. Food & Beverage, Food Production, Reception, Housekeeping or Team Leading).
  • Must have hands-on operational experience across Reception, Housekeeping and Food & Beverage.
  • Full UK driving licence and own vehicle.
  • Flexible with travel.

The Role:

  • Deliver Hospitality Apprenticeship Standards at Levels 2 and 3, across Front of House disciplines, Reception, Reservations, Food & Beverage and Food Production (plus Back of House qualifications if competent).
  • Deliver training through a blended approach, combining remote learning with workplace visits.
  • Manage a caseload of learners, conducting reviews, providing coaching and supporting progression.
  • Maintain accurate learner records and complete all associated administration.
  • Adapt delivery to meet individual learning needs while achieving quality and performance targets.
