Lecturer - Access to HE - Health Professions

Shipley College - Great people, great place!

Hours: 21 hours a week, part-time, full year post

Salary: £28,292 - £39,736 per annum FTE (Actual salary £16,975 to - £23,841 per annum)

Shipley College is looking for a Teacher to teach across a range of Access to HE programmes including Health Professions & Nursing and Midwifery. We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate the necessary knowledge, enthusiasm and skill to help support our learners to achieve their full potential. The role involves all aspects of teaching, such as the preparation of resources, delivery, marking and assessment.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A relevant degree
  • A Professional teaching qualification (see person specification) and/or have significant industry experience in a relevant vocational area
  • Relevant successful teaching/training experience in Health and Social Care
  • Level 2 qualifications in both English and Maths
