Computing Lecturer / Trainer

£40 - £50+ per hour inside IR35
Part-time 22.5 hours a Week (3 Days)
On Site Cambridge - commutable from Bury St Edmunds, Peterborough, Huntingdon, Luton, Sudbury and surrounding areas
3 months Rolling Contract

Are you an experienced Computing Lecturer, Trainer or Assessor looking for your next immediately available contract role, working in a renowned FE College on a rolling contract?

Do you have experience working within further education, apprenticeships, or technical training, or are you an experienced Computing professional looking to showcase your skillset and pass on your knowledge to the next generation of engineers?

You'll support apprentices and learners working towards their qualifications by delivering high-quality teaching, carrying out workplace assessments, providing coaching and mentoring, and helping learners achieve their full potential.

This role would suit someone with previous Training/ Lecturing experience who is looking for a position within a well-established college.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging teaching and practical training in the Computing sector
  • Assess and support apprentices working towards NVQ and apprenticeship standards
  • Coach, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to learners
  • £40 - £50 - 3 Month Rolling Part Time Contract

The Person:

  • Qualified in Computing, IT, or a related discipline

  • Current or previous industry experience working in relevent industries

  • Teaching qualification (desirable)

  • Experience delivering training, lecturing, or assessing apprentices is advantageous

  • Able to obtain an Enhanced DBS check
