About the Role

Cornwall College is looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Psychology Lecturer to join our team in Camborne, delivering outstanding teaching and learning across our Access to HE Diploma in Behavioural Sciences/Psychology.

This is an exciting opportunity to use your psychology expertise to make a genuine difference to learners who are taking the next step towards university and their future careers.

You’ll plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons that challenge and support learners to achieve their potential. You’ll bring psychology to life through relevant, stimulating teaching, while developing learners’ academic skills, confidence and understanding of the subject.

Skills & Experience

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about Psychology and the transformative power of education. You’ll have a relevant degree, ideally with a Psychology specialism, together with relevant academic, professional or vocational experience.

You’ll ideally have teaching experience and a recognised teaching qualification such as AET, DET, PGCE or Certificate of Education. If you don’t currently hold a teaching qualification, we can support the right candidate to achieve one within three years of appointment.
