Job Summary
School of Coding & AI is one of the UK’s fastest growing education providers, delivering high quality, career focused programmes across Coding, AI, STEM, Health and Social Care, Business and related areas.

About the role
We are seeking a passionate Business Management Lecturer to join our Higher Education team and help deliver an exceptional student experience across our BA (Hons) Business Management Programmes, including Foundation Year provision.
You will deliver engaging and industry relevant teaching that enables students to develop a strong understanding of contemporary business management, leadership, entrepreneurship, operations, finance and digital business practices.
What you’ll be doing
- Deliver engaging and high quality teaching across Business Management modules within Higher Education programmes.
- Teach and support students across key business disciplines including management, leadership, entrepreneurship, operations, finance, sustainability and digital business.
- Create an inclusive and interactive learning environment that encourages participation, critical thinking and academic success.
- Prepare and deliver lectures and workshops that connect business theory with current industry practice
- Develop teaching materials, learning resources and activities that support a positive student learning experience.
- Design, set and mark assessments in line with module learning outcomes, providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Monitor student progress, attendance and engagement, offering academic guidance and support where required.
- Support students with academic skills development, employability and progression opportunities.
- Contribute to module reviews and curriculum enhancement activities to ensure content remains current, innovative and industry relevant.
Essential
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Business Management, Business Studies, Management, Entrepreneurship or a related discipline.
- Teaching experience within Higher Education, Further Education or professional training environments.
- Industry experience within business management, operations, leadership, entrepreneurship or a related field.
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Experience designing and delivering assessments and providing academic feedback.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary academic team.
- Commitment to student success, inclusion and academic excellence.
Desirable
- Master’s degree in Business Management, MBA or related subject.
- Experience teaching areas such as leadership, operations management, entrepreneurship, digital business, sustainability or finance.
- Understanding of digital transformation, AI applications in business and emerging technologies.
- Experience supervising student projects, dissertations or work based learning activities.
- Experience working with diverse student cohorts and supporting widening participation initiatives.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with industry trends.
- Ability to contribute positively to a collaborative and fast growing academic environment.
