Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to provide essential administrative support within our legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing correspondence, preparing legal documents, and ensuring smooth office operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong communication skills and a background in administrative tasks to contribute to a professional legal environment.

Responsibilities

  • Drafting, editing, and proofreading legal documents and correspondence with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Managing audio typing of legal transcripts and dictations efficiently and accurately
  • Organising and maintaining case files, records, and documentation in accordance with firm procedures
  • Scheduling appointments, court dates, and meetings while coordinating with clients and external parties
  • Utilising Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Microsoft Outlook for document preparation, scheduling, and communication
  • Assisting with general administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, scanning, and data entry
  • Providing exceptional communication support by liaising effectively with clients, solicitors, and other stakeholders
  • Managing time effectively to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines
