The role of an Apprentice Sports Stars Sports Coach is a great opportunity to get qualified and earn some cash at the same time. The apprenticeship would be best suited for an individual wishing to inspire young children. The role includes studies and assesments through our partners at First Step Training (12-18 month Leve 4 diploma) and the assiting in delivery of sports coaching and teaching a range of extra-curricular activity and sports clubs, for children of all abilities. We help train you to deliver a range of amazing schemes of work covering all key stages and sports.

This role is based in Surrey, delivering at Schools mainly in Guildford, Ashtead and Cranleigh.

We are searching for potential stars who can join our exceptional team within local Primary Schools, by helpinh assising fun and energetic activities for children aged 4 - 11 years. Our incredible team provide outstanding opportunities for children across surrey to learn new skills and engage in a range of sports. There a range of opportunities and roles for the right individual

Key Responsibilities:
Shadow and assist a range of services to primary school age children in local schools and communities, including:

• PE / PPA Lesson Delivery
• After-school sports clubs (1 - 2 hours)
• Lunch clubs + Birthday parties
• Holiday camps
• Ensure a fun and energetic service is delivered in line with Sports Stars standards.
• Provide a safe and secure environment for children at all times.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with parents, children and School staff.
• Clear career pathway laid out to advance through the company

Qualifications and Skills

• Full driving license and car
• Level 1 + 2 Sports Coaching qualifications (not esssential but definetly beneficial if you have)
• Have a positive, dedicated and hard working mentality.
• Be an inspirational individual who can inspire children, teachers and parents alike.
• Be reliable and passionate over everything else as there will be interaction with many different people both internally and in the schools you work in.
• Be able to be a role model and relate to and engage with children between the ages of 4-11.
• Be able to build strong relationships with other coaches, parents and Headteachers.
• Undertake an enhanced DBS Check and First aid training
