Bachy Soletanche are excited to be looking for a Digital Marketing Apprentice to join their growing Marketing and Business Development team. As a Digital Marketing Apprentice, you'll play a hands-on role in shaping how Bachy Soletanche tells its story. Working alongside a friendly and experienced Marketing and Business Development team, you'll help create engaging content, manage digital platforms, support projects and events, and develop the practical skills needed to build a successful career in marketing and communications.

This role would suit someone who is creative, enthusiastic and curious about marketing, social media and digital content. You'll have the opportunity to work across a wide range of activities, from creating social media content and updating the company website to producing graphics, supporting photography and video projects, and helping with internal communications. Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is eager to learn, willing to develop new skills and excited to contribute their ideas.

You'll be joining an international organisation with more than 10,000 experts across 31 countries, giving you the opportunity to gain experience within a business delivering prestigious and ground-breaking projects. You'll work closely with experienced colleagues who will support your development and help you understand how marketing operates within a major specialist engineering organisation.

Alongside your day-to-day role, you will complete a Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer Apprenticeship delivered by Baltic Apprenticeships. Training is delivered through structured two-day training blocks, where you'll develop the knowledge and practical skills needed for a successful career in digital marketing while applying what you learn directly within the business.

In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

• Create and schedule engaging content across social media platforms, including LinkedIn and Instagram, helping to showcase Bachy Soletanche's people, projects and achievements.
• Support the development and maintenance of the company website using WordPress, including uploading, updating and managing digital content.
• Assist with creating and distributing email marketing campaigns and newsletters through Salesforce.
• Monitor digital marketing channels and help identify opportunities to improve engagement, reach and the performance of content.
• Produce graphics and marketing materials using tools including Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Support photography, video creation and content gathering across projects, events and wider company activities.
• Assist with internal communications and employee engagement initiatives, helping to share company news and celebrate achievements.
• Support the planning and delivery of company events, marketing activities and campaigns.
• Help manage marketing assets and ensure content remains consistent with the Bachy Soletanche brand.
• Work collaboratively with the Marketing and Business Development team, contributing ideas for new campaigns, content and ways to engage different audiences.

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge

• A genuine interest in marketing, communications, social media and digital media.
• A creative mindset with an appreciation for good design and visual storytelling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to create clear and engaging content.
• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Enthusiasm for social media and an interest in how organisations use digital channels to communicate with their audiences.
• An interest in photography, video creation or graphic design would be beneficial.
• Experience using Microsoft Office, Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud would be advantageous but is not essential.
• A positive and proactive attitude, with the confidence to contribute ideas and get involved in different projects.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with colleagues.
• A willingness to learn, take feedback and develop new skills.
• Curiosity about marketing and communications and a desire to build a long-term career in the industry.
• A genuine interest in working for a collaborative organisation where teamwork, excellence, creativity, trust, accountability and caring are valued.
• Grade 5/C in GCSE Maths and Grade 4/C in GCSE English.

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

• £18,000 to £22,000 per annum
• Monday to Friday.

This apprenticeship programme will provide you with everything you need to launch and develop your career in digital marketing. You'll gain hands-on experience across social media, website management, email marketing, content creation, digital communications and events while working alongside experienced professionals within an international organisation.

Your Training with Baltic Apprenticeships

This Level 3 apprenticeship provides the skills, qualification and experience you need to immerse yourself in the exciting world of multi-channel marketing and launch a rewarding career in the industry.

With our expert online training and one-to-one support, you'll develop your ability to create, implement and analyse marketing activity across a range of channels. You'll gain experience in areas including content creation, social media, email marketing, website management, campaign planning, customer insight and marketing analytics.

You'll be based full time with Bachy Soletanche and will quickly become an important part of the Marketing and Business Development team. Our training is 100% online, including real-time classes with our expert trainers and self-paced courses created by industry specialists.
