But don’t just take our word for it, here’s what our Practioners say:

"There are countless opportunities to be able to develop my knowledge while having fun every day! LEYF have allowed me to let my passion for childcare develop and grow while nurturing my needs at the same time.”

  • 7% pension contribution (you only contribute 1%)

  • Top training and development through our London Institute of Early Years, including our Early Years Foundation and Top-Up Degrees, SENDCo qual, coaching and more
  • 35 days annual leave (including 8 bank holidays and your birthday off)

About LEYF

We're the London Early Years Foundation; we run 43 nurseries in London. With our unique charitable social enterprise model, we're leading change in Early Years, ensuring equal education and care for all children to give them the best start in life. Any profits we make get reinvested back into the business, giving more to you and to the children.

So why make the jump and join LEYF?

We know working in a nursery can be challenging and you’ve likely experienced this as an Early Years Practioner. It’s also the most important job in London. What you can be sure of by joining us is that we’ll put you first (alongside the children). We give you the space to bring your creativity - we have our social pedagogy to guide you, but it’s not prescriptive. We want you to bring your uniqueness, ideas and personality into your role with us.

Our teachers care deeply about children’s wellbeing, taking the time to listen, to smile, to show up with kindness and patience every single day and so it's only right we invest in you too. As a charitable social enterprise all profits go back into the business and part of this includes initiatives to support with your wellbeing, team building, development and training to increase your skills as an Early Years Practioner.

We’re looking for you to be Level 3 Early Years qualified and align with our values through your work: Inspiring, Brave, Nurturing, Fun. You’ll need to have full right to work in the UK without the need for sponsorship.

If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you! Our recruitment process is quick, so you’ll hear from us within 1-2 days after applying. Reach us at jointheteam@leyf.org.uk or 0203 834 8679 if you have any questions.
