We are currently recruiting for a Resident Liaison Officer to join our team.
Role Overview:
As a Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) you will be the main point of contact between residents, contractors, and housing providers during maintenance, refurbishment, planned works, and improvement projects within social housing properties.
The role focuses on ensuring residents are kept informed, their concerns are addressed promptly, and disruption is minimised while works are carried out.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, housing associations, local authorities, and contractors.
- Provide clear communication regarding planned works, timescales, access requirements, and project updates.
- Arrange and facilitate resident consultations, meetings, and home visits.
- Manage resident queries, complaints, and feedback, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently.
- Coordinate access to properties and support vulnerable residents throughout the works process.
- Maintain accurate records of resident interactions, appointments, complaints, and project progress.
- Liaise closely with site teams, project managers, admin and client representatives to ensure residents are informed of any changes.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and promote positive resident experiences.
- Ensure all activities are carried out in line with safeguarding, health and safety, and data protection requirements.
You Will Need:
- Proven experience in supporting residents within housing, construction, or property maintenance
- Empathetic and approachable.
- Professional and resilient under pressure.
- Proactive problem-solver.
- Well-organised with strong attention to detail.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in MS Office (e.g., MS Project, Excel)
- Full UK driving licence
Please note all our roles are subject to Background, Identity & Security checks before commencement of employment.
Please also be aware that this role involves visiting properties across Swindon and Bristol and you will be expected to attend our Head Office in Tewkesbury on a weekly basis
