Are you passionate about making a difference? Do you believe everyone deserves the right to meaningful employment? We are seeking a compassionate and driven Job Coach to join our team at Kaleidoscope Social Enterprise Ltd, specialising in supporting individuals with learning disabilities and autism to find and succeed in paid employment.

Location: West and Central London (We have different sites across London)

Type: Full-time

Initial Salary: £26,000

Job Role:

As a Job Coach, you will:

  • Develop individualised employment plans based on each person’s abilities, needs, and aspirations.
  • Work directly with people to increase their employment opportunities, from on-the-job training, to enhance their job skills and social interaction, to CV writing, job search and interview preparation.
  • Build partnerships with local businesses and organisations to create inclusive employment opportunities.
  • Monitor and support individuals progress, adjusting strategies as necessary to help them achieve their employment goals.
  • Advocate for workplace accommodations and inclusive recruitment practices.

We Are Looking For:

  • Someone with experience of working in the field of SEND [special educational needs and disabilities], job coaching, or a related field.
  • A clear understanding of the challenges and strengths of individuals with learning disabilities and or autism.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a commitment to fostering independence in others.
  • You will have a proactive approach and the ability to think creatively to solve problems.
