Are you passionate about supporting the growth and development of young children in a warm and nurturing environment? You could be just the person we are looking for to join our incredible team at Orchard Day Nursery!

At Orchard Day nursery we believe every child deserves a caring and encouraging environment where they can thrive. Our setting is so much more to us than an educational setting. It is an additional home where children, families, and staff come together to create something special within our community. Our fantastic Director started this business in 1991 when she came to the area and couldn’t find the right environment for her own children, from there Orchard was founded and has been independently run ever since. Over the years the business has grown and established itself amongst the community in Hanover and more widely Brighton.

We have an incredibly diverse team, who we feel very lucky to call our extended family. We have multilingual team members. We also feel exceptionally lucky to have some male practitioners within our ranks. As a nursery we have developed our own curriculum, promoting areas that are important to our team such as wellbeing and mental health, healthy choices and sustainability, and equality and diversity. Everybody has a voice here!

We are so excited to welcome a new Early Years Educator who shares our commitment to making a positive impact one children’s lives.

The person we are looking for would have a longing to:

· Nurture young minds by providing loving care and support, encouraging their curiosity and learning through play

· Create a safe space, maintaining a warm, safe, and inclusive environment where every child and member of our team feels valued and secure

· Collaborate and connect within out lovely team and building strong and trusting relationships with families.

· Inspire creativity, engaging in creative and fun activities that promote their social. Emotional, and cognitive development.

· Support growth through active participation in ongoing training and professional development, being willing to continually enhance your skill and knowledge bases

We are looking for somebody:

· with a level 3 in childcare, or equivalent qualification

· who possesses strong and effective communication skills

· who is compassionate, patient, and caring

· who has a positive attitude and endless enthusiasm

· who is committed to providing the best possible care and education for every child
