As part of the Delta Education Trust, Delta Bespoke creates and manages bespoke learning packages for young people who are struggling with their current education provision. Our vision, Happiness in the Pursuit of Learning embodies our passion for creating learning and educational opportunities for students who find being in the classroom difficult.
At Delta, we really care about our pupils and their attitude towards learning. We pride ourselves on creating exciting learning environments and innovative curriculums suitable for all ages and abilities. With Delta Bespoke, pupils learn to become knowledgeable, self-aware, independent and emotionally regulated. Creating students who are happy with themselves, brave enough to cope and confident enough to make positive decisions, wherever life takes them.
These are brand new roles and this is where you come in!
Are you an enthusiastic and resilient individual, full of empathy and understanding who can bring this vision to life and make a real difference to the lives and future prospects of our young people? If so, then this role could be for you.
Your role within Delta Bespoke’s Emotional Learning team (with the support of our Head of Emotional Learning) will be to support to students currently unable to access school by providing 1:1 sessions in their homes or out in the community. We endeavour to help all our learners to feel that they matter and belong, enabling them to improve their social, emotional and academic skills to be the best that they can be.
Our Bespoke Education programmes create a unique balance between academic and emotional learning and provide opportunities for young people to develop emotionally and build the resilience and self-esteem in order to re-engage with their learning and in turn, their education.
We are looking for a passionate and committed individual to work with young people to develop their emotional literacy skills as well as practical and employability skills. The role will involve visiting students at home or taking them out into the community to develop skills while supporting their emotional needs. They will build positive and trusting relationships to help encourage the child with attendance and engagement. They should have a particular interest in working with students with special educational needs, including those with behavioural, emotional and social issues.
