Full job description

Due to continued growth we are looking for a Field Care Supervisor to join our amazing team of healthcare professionals at Bluebird Care Wiltshire North.

You will act as a role model and coach for our Care Assistants and help support our customers with all aspects of their day-to-day life.

Responsibilities of the Field Care Supervisor include:

  • Supporting the Customer Care Manager and the Live-in Care Manager with the efficient running and supervision of Care Assistants and support workers within a designated area
  • Deliver care activities as required split between supervisory and care duties as rostered
  • Carry out risk assessments before each service commences
  • Keep care and support plans up to date
  • Create a written, individually tailored plan of care and support that respects each customer’s wishes and promotes their dignity and privacy
  • Support, supervise, and assist with the training of Care Assistants
  • Take part in the out-of-hours emergency on-call rota as required
  • Effectively deal with emergency on-call issues
  • Monitor the performance of Care Assistants and conduct quality reviews at customers’ homes
  • Apply Bluebird Care policies and procedures at all times and make sure that accidents and incidents are recorded, reported, and acted upon
  • Work flexibly to meet business needs

Hours: Full-time Monday-Friday 8:30 am-5:00 pm plus on-call and out-of-hours field work and care delivery as required

Please note you must have previous care experience and hold a full driving licence with access to your own vehicle to be considered for this role.

NVQ level 3 is desirable but not essential
