Job Purpose

The Wellness Coach is responsible for all gym related wellness activities ensuring a safe and clean environment at all times and delivering a great experience for the members.

Reports directly to the Wellness Manager and is fully accountable for New Member Inductions, Member Program reviews, and Gym Floor Interaction driven through the company's Wellness Experience Concept. Driving membership satisfaction and aiding membership retention. Ensuring the gym & studios are maintained to the highest standards at all times.

The Club Company Personal Trainers have the opportunity of uncapped earning potential working within industry leading facilities with a clientele that will bring your earning capability to a different level!

In this "hands on" role, you’ll be working with the Wellness Manager and other Wellness Coaches to deliver the best customer experience possible to our members. You will also be responsible for delivering world class Personal Training sessions and programs, supporting members in achieving their 'real life' fitness. Our trainers will be expected to develop and establish a regular number of Personal Training clients, average of 10-20 hours weekly, in order to achieve individual and the Club’s targets.

Duties include:

• Support the Wellness Manager in the daily running of the Gym;
• Promoting the Company Personal Training brand within the Club;
• Working with the Fitness Manager and Group Fitness & Wellbeing Manager to increase the Personal Training revenue and penetration rate at the club;
• Taking part in Club events and promotions to generate enough leads to achieve the above;
• Driving membership satisfaction and aid membership retention;
• Exceeding your individual performance targets;

Essential requirements for the role:

• Min. CIMSPA Level 3 Personal Training qualified
• Knowledgeable of fitness procedures and fitness products
• Customer service driven
• A Team Player

Shifts Available

Contracts are based on 20-hours over four days of the week as one of our Wellness Coaches, plus delivering an expected 10-20 hours of 1-2-1 sessions weekly as a Personal Trainer, Senior Personal Trainer or Master Personal Trainer.

Shifts are planned a month ahead and will vary from early, mid or late. Candidates MUST be available weekends

· An exceptional and experienced “people person”

· Great planning and operational skills to help setup and run your shift and those around

· Possess clear communication skills and demonstrate a passion & enthusiasm for health & fitness

· Complete awareness of current market trends & local competition to set the business apart

· Possess a hard working dedicated attitude with a flexible approach to working hours.

· Provide high quality of customer service standards, aiming or exceed expectations at all times

· Fluency in spoken and written English is essential

Salary and Benefits:

Salary ranges from £23,972 to £42,137.

Hourly rate of £11.44 for contracted hours, plus commission on all PT sessions conducted.

Paid holiday allowance based on 28 days per annum including Bank Holidays.

Due to the rural location of Woodbury Park, applicants must have access to their own transport and a full, clean UK driving licence.
