Full job description

Ladybird Nurseries | Bromley (Downham) | Full-Time (4 or 5 Days) | Competitive Salary + Benefits

Are you a passionate Early Years educator who loves getting messy, being creative, and helping the littlest minds grow?

We are looking for a dedicated Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our beautiful new Bromley setting - ideally located right in the heart of Downham with fantastic, easy transport links. We offer excellent flexibility with options for either a 4-day or 5-day working week.

Visa Sponsorship: We proudly offer UK visa sponsorship for exceptional candidates who meet the required qualifications, experience, and criteria.

About Our Family

We aren't a faceless corporation. We are a small, family-run group of six nurseries that has been operating for over 30 years. We view our team as our extended family. Most of our staff have worked with us for many years because we genuinely recognise, value, and listen to everyone's unique ideas.

The Perks: What We Offer

We believe in rewarding our team for the incredible work they do:

  • Financial & Rewards: Competitive salary with regular reviews, performance rewards, and yearly/long-term service awards.
  • Work-Life Balance: Generous holiday allowance, a dedicated Wellbeing Day, a day off for your birthday, and a full Christmas closure.
  • Health & Support: Free healthy, freshly prepared cooked lunch every day, free uniform, and a highly helpful, supportive management team.
  • Training & Progression: Fully funded training packages, with opportunities to train even further (e.g., Early Years Teacher Status, Leadership courses) and progress within our group.
  • Perks & Convenience: Discounted childcare and an easily accessible location close to local bus and train stations (perfect for those commuting from the wider Beckenham/Penge/Anerley areas).

What We Are Looking For

  • Qualifications: Level 3 or above full and relevant UK early years qualification.
  • Experience: Previous experience working within a nursery setting.
  • Passion: A genuine love for working with early years children, with a fun, creative, and "get messy" attitude to play.
  • Skills: Excellent teamwork skills, a positive can-do attitude, and the ability to use your own initiative to support the daily running of the room.

Key Responsibilities

  • Nurturing Environment: Support the daily operations of the room, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and joyful environment for all children.
  • Creative Learning: Plan and implement engaging, sensory, and educational activities tailored to early childhood development.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with your Room Leader and team practitioners, fostering a positive atmosphere.
  • Parent Partnerships: Communicate effectively and warmly with parents regarding their children's daily milestones and well-being.
  • Compliance: Maintain high standards of care and learning in line with EYFS and safeguarding regulations.
