Full job description

We are looking for responsible Lifeguards at Wray Common Primary School, Reigate and Chipstead Valley Primary School, Coulsdon for school holidays ONLY.

The main purpose of this position is:

  • To supervise the security and safety of the children ensuring their enjoyment
  • To maintain the facility to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene at all times
  • To provide safe high-quality play for children aged 4 – 11 years of age.

Camp Glide is seeking an enthusiastic and committed team player with a passion for working with children in an exciting and dynamic environment.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

  • National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ)
  • Commitment to team-working
  • Excellent communication skills when dealing with children
  • Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
  • Knowledge of CPR and emergency medical procedures
  • Willingness to undergo training

This position can be a lifeguarding only position or a dual lifeguarding/playworker postion to increase hours.
