ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for talented and enthusiastic Casual Chefs to join our culinary team at Lingfield Park Marriott Hotel & Country Club.

This is an exciting opportunity for chefs who are passionate about producing high-quality food and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Working alongside our experienced kitchen team, you'll play a key role in preparing and delivering outstanding food in a fast-paced and varied environment. No two days are the same, offering the opportunity to work across a range of services and guest experiences.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work as part of a busy and collaborative kitchen team to deliver high-quality food and service.
• Prepare, cook, and present dishes to a consistently high standard, following recipes and specifications.
• Ensure all food is produced in line with food safety, hygiene, and allergen regulations.
• Assist with stock control, deliveries, stock rotation, and minimising food waste.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times.
• Support colleagues across different kitchen sections as required to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Contribute positively to the team and help create exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

Experience

• Experience working within a professional kitchen environment.
• Experience within a busy hospitality or catering environment is desirable.

Skills & Knowledge

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality food.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to changing business demands.
• Good understanding of food safety, HACCP procedures, and allergen management.

Personal Attributes

• Positive, reliable, and flexible approach to work.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
• Passion for food and delivering excellent guest experiences.
• Professional appearance with clean chef whites and own knives preferred.
