Full job description

Location: High Barnet, North London
Salary: £16.00 per hour
Full-Time Contract, Permanent Position

We're looking for experienced and committed Security Patrol Drivers to join our expanding residential security team covering North London. You'll be patrolling residential neighbourhoods, responding to incidents, reassuring residents, and acting as a visible deterrent to crime.

Your Duties

  • Carry out scheduled mobile patrols in company vehicles
  • Respond quickly to alarm activations and resident call-outs
  • Identify and report suspicious behaviour or criminal activity
  • Conduct security checks on residential streets and properties
  • Complete detailed incident and patrol reports
  • Provide a professional and reassuring presence within the community
  • Liaise with emergency services when required

What We're Looking For

  • Previous Army or Police experience (Essential)
  • Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record
  • SIA Licence (or willingness to obtain one – support available)
  • Excellent communication and decision-making skills
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • Flexible approach to working nights and weekends
  • FREC qualification is an advantage, but full training can be provided

Shift Pattern

  • 12-hour shifts
  • 4-5 shifts per week
  • Primarily night shifts (occasional day shifts)
  • Weekend availability required
  • Regular overtime and additional hours available

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to £16.00 per hour
