Farani Taylor SolicitorsBlackfriars, London | Consultancy, Fee Share

Consultant Solicitor - Housing & Litigation

Farani Taylor is a dynamic and award-winning full-service law firm based in the heart of London. Having proudly served over 40,000 clients, we are recognised for delivering exceptional legal services with professionalism, care, and integrity.

We are seeking a polished, proactive, and client-focused litigator to join us on a consultancy, fee sharing basis. The successful candidate will bring their own established client base and conduct a varied caseload across housing and general civil litigation.

The opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established, full service London firm as a valued member of the team. Based at our City office in Blackfriars, you will act for your own clients and conduct your matters from instruction through to conclusion, with the firm's systems, infrastructure and professional standing behind you at every stage. Our consultants work alongside experienced colleagues across three London offices, in a firm that values expertise, collaboration and long term relationships.

Your caseload

● Housing: landlord and tenant disputes, possession proceedings, disrepair claims and deposit disputes, acting for landlords and tenants.

● Civil litigation: contract and commercial disputes, debt recovery and enforcement.

A minimum of 3 to 5 years' PQE in litigation is expected, including court advocacy or effective instruction of counsel, with confident case strategy and costs management on privately funded matters.

What we are looking for

● An SRA qualified solicitor with a current practising certificate and a clean regulatory record. SRA qualified candidates only.

● An established client base and a substantial self generated caseload, supported by a proven billing record.

● Comprehensive, in depth expertise across your practice area, with the ability to conduct matters from instruction through to conclusion independently.

● The highest standards of client care, file management and compliance.

What we offer

● A competitive fee sharing arrangement of 40% of fees billed and received, as set out in the consultancy agreement.

● A base at our City office in Blackfriars, with full facilities, meeting rooms and access across our three London offices in Blackfriars, Ilford and Norbury.

● Practice under the firm's SRA regulation, with professional indemnity cover for work carried out through the firm.

● Full case management, billing, accounts and compliance support, allowing you to focus entirely on your clients.

● A collegiate, supportive team environment within an established firm that has been serving London since 1962.
